Yesterday was FULL of all sorts of good things.

Workout:

I switched things up a little bit and decided to go to the gym on my lunch break. Perhaps because it was earlier in the day, I had way more energy. I had planned on doing just a workout on the elliptical, but for some reason I was motivated to RUN. I didn’t really have a clear goal in mind, but I was thinking I’d just run, do a walk break, and run more. Except while I was running, I was feeling REALLY good. I decided to nix the walk break. I ended up running for a little over 23 minutes, reaching 2 miles without a walk break for only the second time ever. The first time I ran two miles, even though I did it a minute faster, I wasn’t proud. It was slow, it was painful, blah, blah, blah. But this time for some reason, I was proud. I think it was just because I surprised myself. Maybe because I feel like I’m improving. Maybe because it’s getting easier. Maybe because I thought about how I used to only be able to run 0.3 miles.

It really was great to go home after work knowing that I’d already gotten my workout in. I think I’m going to continue working out on my lunch break.

Also,

Oh hi, I’m Lexie’s new purple dell.

I’m no longer computerless! Eeeeeeee! Unfortunately, I don’t have internet yet in the new apartment. Hopefully I’ll have it soon.

And one last thing, after a Margaret Thatcher inspired blog post, a friend suggested that I get the little chin his own twitter account. NECESSARY. So I of course obliged. Margaret Thatcher now tweets at @mthatchinchilla. He already has 7 followers. I think he will quickly surpass me in the number of followers I have.

And I know I’ve been giving a lot of love to twitter, but I know some people don’t care for it too much. So if you’d rather we communicate via facebook, send me a request and just make sure to say you are a follower of the blog and I’ll add ya.

What type of computer do you use?
I’ve personally had bad experiences with my HP, so I’m trying out the dell. I’ve heard good things and bad things, but I read through the reviews and also checked out the best laptops of 2010 and decided to go with it. My family members all use macs but I can’t stand the operating system.

Are you obsessed with your pet?
I mean really, who isn’t? My world revolves around a tiny fluff ball.

Have a great day dears,

Lexie
